Leslie Courtney is a seasoned healthcare executive with 25 years of experience leading high-growth organizations across digital health, telehealth, and population health. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Somethings, where she has full P&L responsibility for revenue, client success, implementation, and account management.
Prior to joining Somethings, Leslie was Chief Commercial Officer at BeMe where she built and executed a comprehensive enterprise growth strategy, expanding the company’s revenue model beyond Medicaid payers to include commercial employers, hospital systems, and brokers. She played a central role in closing a multimillion-dollar seed extension, led M&A diligence, partnered closely with the CEO and Board and successfully saw the company through an acquisition.
Previously, Leslie served as Executive Vice President of Client Success at Papa, where she helped scale the company from seed stage through its $150M Series D led by SoftBank. At MDLIVE, she led a 30-person team that drove an average of 135% year-over-year revenue growth and achieved a 99% client retention rate.
Leslie has also been a featured speaker at several industry conferences, including events hosted by the National Business Group on Health (NBGH), World Congress, Employee Benefit News, and the New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC), sharing insights on employer engagement, digital health strategy, and client success innovation.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Consumers Medical, Johnson & Johnson HCS, and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where she consistently delivered results in business development, client engagement, and operational efficiency. She holds a B.S. from Eastern Nazarene College and an M.S. in Health Promotion and Wellness Management from Springfield College.
Leslie is also passionate about giving back. She serves as Vice President of the AAIC Board, a nonprofit addressing food insecurity, and co-chairs its annual “Hunger to Hope” fundraiser. She also teaches graduate-level courses in leadership and entrepreneurship as an adjunct professor at Southern Nazarene University.
